You could call it the Summer of the Outdoors. I prefer to call it the summer I plan to paint my house. I finally went and bought some high quality paint. Don't use anything but the Benjamin Moore paint. Yes, its more expensive, but I think I've tried them all over the years and beleive me, the Benjamin Moore is by far the easiest to paint with. Try it, you'll like it.
On the expense side, its amazing how expensive this painting is. I've already spent over $100 bucks on paint and some sanding pads. Oh well, you can't have a home that looks like this assessed....

Dude, paint really is SO expensive. And then all the other accessories and what not you have to buy start to add up as well. But, you know, when you have to call the law, you want your house to be looking good, lest you, me, wifey, and our respective dogs end up on an episode of Cops one of these days. hee hee.
xoxo, love to you both
Assessed? Like appraised to avoid PMI or something?
I'd like to encourage you but painting a house in Macon (with the heat and pollen) sounds awful. HOWEVER if you're going to do it, April is a lot better than June! Good luck.
Paint and clean it up to have it reassessed and hopefully have some equity.
PS - pollen has nothing on paint dust from the orbital sander, but I wear a big respirator mask. It keeps all particles out.
